Parcel Management
Feature Overview
The Parcel Management feature within the app enables property staff to log and manage incoming deliveries efficiently. Each parcel can be recorded and assigned to the correct resident, with instant notifications sent directly through the app. This streamlined communication ensures that residents are promptly informed when a package arrives, reducing delays and missed pickups. By centralising parcel tracking and messaging, the feature enhances operational efficiency, improves resident satisfaction, and adds an extra layer of convenience and organization to daily community management.
Loading Parcels into the System
Navigate to the Parcels tab on the left-hand menu and click 'Add Parcel' in the top right.
When on the create parcel screen, you can enter the Property, Recipient, Parcel Type, Reference & Parcel Location. You also have an option to send an email and push notification (alert).
The system will allow you to enter as many parcels as needed. New lines will automatically appear once you have completed the line above.
Once you have loaded all of the parcels, hit create and the notifications will be sent simultaneously to your residents.
Marking a Parcel as Collected
There are a few ways that you can mark parcels as collected. You can mark them in bulk or individually.
To bulk update the parcels, navigate the parcels screen, select the parcels and in the top right click bulk actions and mark as collected.
To update then individually, click into the individual parcel and select the 'collected' button in the top left of the screen. On this screen, you can also slick 'Action' and resend notifications to the residents.
Parcel Types and Locations
Setting up your own parcel types and parcel locations can be done from the Settings section in the menu. Only Admin users have access to change settings.
Parcel Types - These can include packages, letters etc.
Parcel Locations - These can include reception, storeroom etc.
Enter the type or location and select the building(s), set as active and hit create. When creating parcel types and locations, there is an option to set it as a default type or location.
