How to Add, Update & Delete a New User/Resident
Feature Overview
The User Management feature empowers admin users to efficiently control and maintain user access for residents. This essential functionality streamlines the management of residents' accounts, ensuring a seamless and secure experience for all users.
New User/Resident
Residents need to be added as users in the admin portal in order to sign in on the app. If a user wants their family members to access the app, they must be added as users as well.
Important Information:
- A user must have both an email address and a mobile phone number to be added.
- It is recommended that users sign in using their mobile number instead of their email.
- If a user logs in with their mobile number, they will receive a code via SMS. If they log in with their email address, they will need to create a password and use it for each login, which can make it harder to remember.
- It is best to create a separate user account for each resident.
To access the App and experience the resident view, you must create a separate user account for yourself. You cannot use the same login credentials as your Team Member account - the one that you use to sign in to the Admin Portal.

Navigate to the Add User screen

Trouble Shooting
Duplicate email or phone number found
Phone numbers and email addresses must be unique to a user. If a duplicate email address or phone number has been used for another resident you will need to either
1) use different details for the new user, or
2) update the other users details before creating the new user.
Users share an email address
It's not possible to create multiple users with the same email address or phone number, as these are used as unique identifiers for sign-in. To resolve this, setup one or both of the users using only their phone number, or one user with email and one user with their phone number.
Updating a User
- Find the user that you would like to update in the Users list. The search function and filters can help you find the required user.
- Update the fields as required and click Update to save your changes
Deleting & Blocking a User
Deleting a User
By clicking the "Delete" button the User will move the user to Deleted. The user will have their access removed from the app.
Note: if you intend to re-add the user later it's best to remove the phone number and email address before deleting to ensure a smoother process when setting up the new user account.
Blocking a User
By clicking Disable user account the user will be temporarily blocked from the app.
