How to Create Perks

Feature Overview

The Resident Perks feature in the App empowers admin users to enhance the living experience of their residents by offering exclusive benefits, discounts, and privileges. These Resident Perks can range from in-house advantages like discounts at the village cafe to special arrangements with local and even not-so-local businesses.

The Resident Perks feature is a powerful tool for admin users to enhance the overall resident experience within the community. By offering exclusive perks that cater to residents' interests and needs, this feature strengthens community bonds, encourages exploration of local businesses, and contributes to a thriving and happy living environment. Whether it's in-house advantages or partnerships with external businesses, Resident Perks create a win-win situation for both admin users and their valued residents.

Creating a Perk

Navigate to the Create Perk screen

Complete the Create Event form

Building Select the applicable building (defaults to current building)

Header Add a header for the Perk that grabs the users attention for example "Get 20% off on Tuesdays"

Subheader Provide additional details about the perk for example such as where the perk is applicable "Jam Pantry Café"

Voucher Code If a voucher code is required please add this here. If no voucher code is required, you can add "Not applicable" or "N/A"

Content Provide the details of the perk for your residents.

Terms & Conditions Input any relevant terms and conditions for example "Must be a resident of Pine Mountains Lifestyle Community" or "Offer valid between 10/05/2023 - 31/12/2023. Offer valid once per person per day"

Set as active This checkbox toggles whether the Perk is published on the app or not.

Icon Upload a small icon image for the perk - this is typically a business logo (see examples below).

Thumbnail Banner Upload an image that will appear in the Perks section of the app. We recommend keeping the left side of the image empty/plain so that the text is easily legible (see examples below).

Banner The Banner image appears at the top of the screen when the user is viewing the Perk details.
