Customising the Maintenance Settings

Feature Overview


The improved maintenance module includes more features that allows you to manage the entire maintenance process from start to finish. The settings can be configured by the admin user, providing greater customisation tailored to the specific village.


The following maintenance settings can be configured by an admin user only. If you are unable to access the maintenance settings, please ask your admin user.


      • Urgency: Allows the creation of urgency statuses that are visible when submitting a request. Examples could include high, medium, low.
      • Categories: Enables the definition of categories for better classification. These could relate to specific areas of the community, such as the clubhouse or pool area, or maintenance types like plumbing or electrical.

The following settings are only available for the Maintenance (Full) feature.


      • Tags: Offers the ability to create tags for easier identification, filtering, and reporting. Tags can be created for various items such as assets, fixtures, fittings, or areas.
      • Entry Permissions: Allows customisation of user access permissions for contractors to enter when the resident is not home. Examples could include "I allow access without me being present" or "I do not allow access".
      • Chart of Accounts: Configures the chart of account categories for financial tracking. Examples could include plumbing, electrical, cleaning etc.
